- Wash your hands after applying the actives.
Note on Ghost Mode Gel
Ghost Mode Gel contains salicylic acid at a low concentration (usually less than 1%). At this level it is generally considered safe during pregnancy, but it is a debated topic and some women prefer to avoid it. Please consult your primary care provider before using it.

- Apply every product with your fingers. Do not use Q-tips, cotton balls or other applicators.
- Wash your hands after applying the actives.
Game Over notes
- Use Game Over at night only, and not every night. Start with 2 to 3 nights a week.
- Always mix it with Less Drama or Unbothered. Start at about 20% Game Over to 80% moisturizer, and build slowly toward 50/50 as skin adjusts. Many people stay at 50/50 long term.
- Deeper skin tones (phototypes IV to VI): always mix, never more than 50/50 Game Over to moisturizer.
- Be careful with sun exposure while using Game Over.
- In summer, diluting Game Over is a must for everyone. Skin should not peel with Game Over during summer; if it does, stop and follow the Skin Barrier Support routine.
- If irritation occurs, dilute Game Over further, or stop it and calm the skin with the Skin Barrier Support routine.
- Not for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

For all routines
- Wide Awake (eye cream) is part of every routine, twice a day, morning and night, right after Deep In Your Feelings.
- Sunscreen: use both. In the routine, use The One Tinted on the face and The One Invisible on the body (The One Invisible is made for face and body). For pigmentation, The One Tinted is the better choice for the face because its iron oxides help protect skin from visible light.
- Deep In Your Feelings always comes first, after the cleanser and before any cream, even when the barrier routine is skipped.
- Use Skin Shine products together. Our line is designed to work in synergy, so always pair the actives with our own cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen. Other brands' products may contain ingredients that reduce how well the actives work.
- Not On My Watch is a water-based vitamin C, so it is suitable for all skin types, including oily and acne-prone skin, and can be used morning and night.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
All Skin Shine products are suitable for pregnancy and breastfeeding, except Game Over and Flake Off.
Game Over and Flake Off are not for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Note on Ghost Mode Gel: it contains salicylic acid, at a low concentration (usually less than 1%). At this level it is generally considered safe during pregnancy, but it is a debated topic and some women prefer to avoid it. Please consult your primary care provider before using it.
Before a facial or laser treatment
Stop using all active products (Ghost Mode Gel, Ghost Mode Cream, Not Today, Lit and Game Over) at least 5 days before a facial or laser treatment, and consult your provider.
Sun exposure and irritation
Active products can make skin more sensitive to the sun. Use sunscreen with at least SPF 40 every morning (The One Tinted on the face, The One Invisible on the body), reapply every 2 hours, and avoid direct sun exposure.
Some tingling, redness or irritation can occur, especially when starting a new active.
If this happens, stop using the active product (Ghost Mode Gel, Ghost Mode Cream, Not Today, Lit or Game Over) and follow the Skin Barrier Support routine until your skin has calmed down. Then reintroduce the active gradually.
Products by skin concern
Clean Slate (cleanser) and Deep In Your Feelings (hyaluronic serum) suit every concern except the eye area. Sunscreen is required with every routine (at least SPF 40, reapplied every 2 hours): The One Tinted for the face and The One Invisible for the body. For dark spots, The One Tinted is the better choice for the face because of its iron oxides. Deep In Your Feelings always comes first after the cleanser, before any cream.
